Tactical Emergency Casualty Care

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care is a training program designed to bridge the knowledge gap between bystanders and professional rescuers.  TECC seeks to empower non-military personnel with the tools and education to respond to life-threatening emergencies.  Using information, demonstration, and scenario-based practice, students will learn more advanced First Aid skills such as:

Tourniquet Application

Wound Packing

Safe Transport

Actions under Threat

And More!

Safety Education Specialists is a Co-TECC Recognized Training Partner and offers two main types of TECC training.

TECC for the Active Bystander:  This program is intended for a bystander with no duty to act (layperson, member of the public) to act when a life-threatening emergency occurs.  This training is open to the public for individual training appointments and small to large group training.  Group training is held at client sites.  Individual training by appointment is held in our Brambleton, Virginia training office.  An Individual appointment will last 2-3 hours. Suggested prerequisite:  Any nationally recognized Basic First Aid and/or CPR/AED course.

Training Fee:  $150.00 per student for appointment.  Groups of up to 4 can be accommodated at the Brambleton location.  On-site training for larger groups will be on a different fee structure, contact us for details.
